Planning your banquet


Why choose a shared menu?


A shared menu creates a pleasant and relaxed setting for your event.

Your guests are served at the same time, allowing you to fully enjoy the occasion together.


You are welcome to compose your menu from our current seasonal à la carte selection.This allows you to create a menu that suits your occasion – fresh, varied and tailored to your preferences.


Our menu suggestions serve as inspiration.



Organisation and process


For groups of 10 or more guests, we recommend choosing a shared menu.

For smaller groups, you are also welcome to select together from our seasonal menu.


As all dishes are freshly prepared and our kitchen offers a wide variety, the à la carte service on site is limited to a maximum table size of 12 guests.


Most menu suggestions are available for 10 or more guests per dish.


If there are guests with special dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know.We will gladly take this into account when planning your menu.


For groups, we are also happy to offer a selection of dishes, for example one starter, two main courses to choose from and desserts.

We kindly ask you to confirm your selection no later than three days before the event.



Creating your menu


Pricing for a shared menu (from 10 guests)

Portion sizes are adjusted according to the number of courses:


  • 1 course (main course): price as listed

  • 2 courses: minus 2%

  • 3 courses: minus 5%

  • 4 courses or more: minus 7%


Buffets and individually ordered dishes on site are not subject to this pricing structure.

Pre-arranged menus already include this adjustment.

We take great pleasure in looking after our guests according to their individual preferences.


We place great importance on the quality and origin of our meat and fish. At the same time, we value a thoughtful and attentive approach to vegetarian and vegan cuisine.


For our younger guests, we offer a lovingly designed menu with freshly prepared, child-friendly dishes.


Homemade desserts have a long tradition at Guggital.We are pleased to serve classic family recipes, well-loved favourites and new, sweet creations.

As all our dishes are freshly prepared, we are able to respond flexibly to allergies and special dietary requirements.

Your menu consultation


For your personal menu consultation, we kindly ask you to arrange an appointment in advance.

Unfortunately, consultations are not possible during peak service times at lunchtime and in the evening.Thank you for your understanding.


We are happy to support you with our experience and expertise and look forward to planning your event together with you.

Tasting menus and wine tastings


Tasting menus are not included in the listed menu prices and will be charged separately.

The same applies to wine tastings.

Opened bottles will be charged accordingly.

Any opened wine bottles may of course be taken home.



Food & beverages brought by guests


Corkage fee (wine): CHF 45.00 per bottle (7.5 dl)

Spirits: CHF 60.00 per bottle (7.5 dl)

Brought-in dessert: CHF 5.00 per person



Changes in the number of guests


The final number of guests confirmed 48 hours prior to the event is binding.

Any reduction in numbers will be charged accordingly.

If last-minute adjustments are required on the day of the event due to dietary needs, these will be charged based on the additional effort.

We reserve the right to charge for dishes that have already been prepared.



Cancellations


Up to 2 weeks before the event:Charged according to incurred costs, provided the space cannot be rebooked

From 48 hours before the event:Charged according to incurred costs

On the day of the event:Charged at 100%

For funeral gatherings:If the deviation in the number of guests exceeds 10%, this portion will be charged in full.



Late-night surcharge


After official closing time, a surcharge of CHF 80.00 per commenced half hour will be charged.
