Guggital historical 'Children'
Did you know, dear children?
The fact that children are warmly welcomed at Guggital has a really long tradition. Tradition means doing something that people have done before.
When your great-great-great-great-grandparents were still children, the Guggital was a health resort. There was a separate house just for weakened children, who were nursed back to health in the fresh air with air and water baths, spring water and fresh, fine cow's milk.
Even back then, there was a large four-person swing in the garden and other play equipment. Today's four-person swing is a replica of the old one made of wood. Since the wood always broke quickly, the swing is now made of metal and is just as much fun as it was back then.
There has been a carousel in Guggital's garden for around 70 years. It's not the same as it was back then, but it's almost the same and just as great.

Our kids’ meals are made with love and only the best ingredients – no ready-made products. Whether you like meat, want to try fish, or prefer vegetarian or vegan food – you’re sure to find something you’ll enjoy.
And don’t worry if you need to avoid certain things, like gluten – we’ll happily take care of that.

Our homemade ice cream comes in many flavours, topped with colourful Smarties (vegan option available) and a fun surprise toy.You’ll also find a little gift with our crêpes and cookie sandwiches – because dessert should be twice the fun!
