Guggital historical 'Children'
Did you know, dear children?
The fact that children are warmly welcomed at Guggital has a really long tradition. Tradition means doing something that people have done before.
When your great-great-great-great-grandparents were still children, the Guggital was a health resort. There was a separate house just for weakened children, who were nursed back to health in the fresh air with air and water baths, spring water and fresh, fine cow's milk.
Even back then, there was a large four-person swing in the garden and other play equipment. Today's four-person swing is a replica of the old one made of wood. Since the wood always broke quickly, the swing is now made of metal and is just as much fun as it was back then.
There has been a carousel in Guggital's garden for around 70 years. It's not the same as it was back then, but it's almost the same and just as great.

Are you in the mood for something tasty and freshly cooked?Then you’ve come to the right place!
Our kids’ meals are made with love and only the best ingredients – no ready-made products. Whether you like meat, want to try fish, or prefer vegetarian or vegan food – you’re sure to find something you’ll enjoy.
And don’t worry if you need to avoid certain things, like gluten – we’ll happily take care of that.

OWhether it’s ice cream, cookie sandwiches, or Nutella crêpes – we have lots of delicious desserts waiting for you!
Our homemade ice cream comes in many flavours, topped with colourful Smarties (vegan option available) and a fun surprise toy.You’ll also find a little gift with our crêpes and cookie sandwiches – because dessert should be twice the fun!

Brio Railway: A pretty Brio railway is available for the little ones. Build your own tracks and let the trains whiz through the landscape!
Colored pencils: Paint and draw to your heart’s content.
Jass cards and Black Peter cards: Play fun card games together. Who will be Black Peter?
Beer mat pyramids: If you're handy, you can build great pyramids out of beer mats. Just let us know and we'll be happy to bring the beer mats to your table after dinner.

Children’s high chairs and booster seats
We want even our youngest guests to feel completely at home with us. That's why we have some high chairs and booster seats available for your little ones.
Please let us know when you make your reservation if you need a high chair and we will put one at your table straight away.

Changing tables in Guggital
We know how important it is for you to be able to care for your baby comfortably. That's why we have installed a changing table in both our ladies' and men's toilets. This means that modern fathers and mothers alike can change diapers in a comfortable environment.
We want all family members to feel at home with us and look forward to welcoming you and your little ones to the Guggital!
Breastfeeding & Baby food
For our smallest guests
Dear Parents,
We understand that even our youngest guests sometimes have special needs. That's why we are happy to warm up the baby food or fill the baby bottle with hot water.
It is natural that breastfed babies will get hungry during a visit to a restaurant. Breastfeeding in restaurants is of course permitted.
However, if there is too much hustle and bustle and you or your baby feel uncomfortable, just talk to us. We will be happy to find a quiet place for you so that you can breastfeed in a relaxed atmosphere.
