No problem at all. At Guggital, Valentine’s Day is celebrated from Friday, February 13 to Sunday, February 15.


On Valentine’s Day, we invite you to leave everyday life behind for a few hours and simply enjoy being together. And don’t worry: you don’t need to be a classic couple to celebrate this evening. Good company is all that’s required.

Our kitchen has composed a very special culinary declaration of love:a menu that brings together Italian warmth and Japanese finesse.Each course can be chosen according to your personal preferences, creating an evening that feels entirely your own.


Vegetarian guests are equally well catered for. Several courses are intentionally meat-free and blend harmoniously into the menu.

Quiet, elegant and full of flavour, accompanied by dishes that deserve time and attention.

The Metzgete at Guggital is a long-standing tradition that dates back to the 1940s.


For many years, we have presented our Metzgete in the form of a lavish buffet, offering a colorful selection of appetizers, hearty main courses, and classic desserts. At the same time, we leave plenty of room for creative reinterpretations to enrich the tradition with fresh new impulses.


(All non-meat eaters and those not fond of Metzgete are welcome to choose from Guggital’s diverse menu.

A celebration full of joy for the whole family, with beaming children in festive clothing and perhaps even a pretty floral decoration in their hair.

The date for your child’s First Communion is set by the respective parish.


Tip: Our capacity is quickly reached, especially on First Communion days in neighboring parishes. We therefore recommend that you reserve early to secure your place.

We would be happy to send you our special communion menu, which offers both meat and vegetarian options as well as a special children's menu.

Asparagus Season



🌿 Spring at the Guggital - Asparagus Season in Stages


Spring brings fresh, crisp vegetables in vibrant colours to the kitchen. At the Guggital, we celebrate this season with dishes that truly capture the taste of spring – light, aromatic and in tune with what the season has to offer.



🌱 Green Asparagus - from 24 March 2026


On 24 March, we launch our spring menu. Look forward to plenty of spring flavours on the plate: delicately aromatic wild garlic, crisp green asparagus, fine morels and fresh rhubarb. A cuisine that welcomes the warmer days – fresh, lively and full of flavour.



🤍 White Asparagus - from 27 April 2026


When it comes to white asparagus, one thing matters above all: freshness. The time between harvesting and serving should be kept as short as possible – only then does it develop its delicate aroma.


As soon as Swiss or Baden-grown asparagus of the best quality becomes available (usually from early May), we will expand our menu with refined, classic asparagus dishes. Because for us, it’s worth waiting a little longer for uncompromising quality.

We look forward to guiding you step by step through the spring season and indulging you with the full flavour of the harvest.
