Only around 5 km away from the motorway exit towards Zürich and Luzern.
Around 6 km away from the motorway exit towards Chur.
Around 21 minutes away from the motorway exit towards Arth-Goldau (Ticino).
Our guests can use our numerous private parking without additional costs.
We are also easily accessible by public transportation. Bus 603 stops upfront our premises and offers a direct connection to Zug main station. the city of Baar (Lättich terminal) and to the popular funicular Zugerbergbahn

Sector 1: Upfront the hotel drive-in at Zugerbergstrasse.
Sector 2: Upfront the main entrance, two parking lots with a loading point.
Sector 3: Additional parking at the rear of the building, drive-in from Guggitalring

Heart Route & Downhill at Zugerberg
Perfect for you bike tour – Hotel Restaurant Guggital offers the most beautiful view on the lake of Zug, 500 m a.s.l.
At Hotel Restaurant Guggital we are well equipped for our guests on two wheels. Bikes can be stored in our bycicle facility. Additionally we provide special tools for small repairs. The pump station you can use to inflate your tires for the next tour day.
Your hotel room offers a beautiful lake view. The mountain panorama and the view over the city of Zug is spectacular. Wind down in the evening in our restaurant garden in the cooling shade of old chestnut trees. You can also relax in the comfortable garden lounge while enjoying a drink. Meanwhile, your children can have fun on the large, private playground.
The Heart Route - Explore Switzerland by bike using the Herzroute (heart route). This popular route passes through picturesque landscapes and charming villages and offers a unique experience for every cyclist.
Downhill at Zugerberg - Adventure lovers will certainly prefer the Downhill am Zugerberg, a thrilling downhill trail. Start your tour at Zugerberg and drive down to Guggital to experience the ultimate adrenaline rush.

Individual Arrival
Arrival by car
Arriving by car is easy and not complicated at all. We provide several private parking lots without any additional costs.
Coming from A4 (Zürich/Luzern): Leave at exit Zug, which is around 5 km away from Guggital. Follow the signs towards the direction Zug Zentrum/Casino Zug. At Casino Zug take a left turn and drive uphill on the Zugerbergstrasse. After 900 m you will reach Hotel Guggital.
Coming from Chur (A14): Leave at exit Baar, which is around 6 km away from Guggital. Follow the signs towards the direction Zug Zentrum/Casino Zug. At Casino Zug take a left turn and drive uphill on Zugerbergstrasse. After 900 m you will reach Hotel Guggital.
Coming from Ticino (A2): Leave at exit Goldau, which is around 17 km away from Guggital. Follow the signs towards the direction Zug. At Casino Zug take a right turn and drive uphill on Zugerbergstrasse. After 900 m you will reach Hotel Guggital.

By Train:
Travel to Zug main station, an important hub of the Swiss railway network. From here you have numerous connections throughout Switzerland.
By Bus:
From Zug main station take bus no 603 which stops directly upfront our hotel. This line offers connections to the town of Baar (Lättich terminal) and the popular funicular Zugerbergbahn. The bus ride from Zug main station to Hotel Guggital only takes around 9 minutes.
By Taxii:
Alternatively you can take a taxi directly at Zug main station which brings you to us in convenient and fast manner.
On Foot:
Should you prefer a walk, Hotel Guggital is accessible on foot as well. Leave Zug main station and your walk takes around 25 to 30 minutes and leads you all the way through the beautiful city of Zug (around 2 km and 100 elevation gain)
