For a restful night and sweet dreams, each bed in our hotel is equipped with two carefully selected pillows – for your perfect sleep experience.
Our small pillow is filled with hypoallergenic fibers – soft, breathable and ideal for allergy sufferers.
The larger pillow comes from LaModula, the renowned Austrian brand for natural sleep products. It is filled with Swiss stone pine (Arve) wood and pure sheep’s wool – for a wonderfully soothing and relaxing sleep.
Swiss stone pine has been shown to naturally lower heart rate and promote deep, restful sleep – a true gift from nature.

Snack and drink machines in the hotel
In the hotel lobby you will find a snack, drinks and tobacco vending machine that operates with Swiss francs (cash).
Another smaller snack and drinks vending machine is located on the first floor on the restaurant side of the hotel.
To make your stay even more pleasant, we provide freshly filled water carafes in your room every day.
You can also enjoy the water from the tap without any worries.
Important information about the machines:
Please note that our machines do not accept 5-franc coins. To avoid problems and delays, please check the coins before inserting them. Unfortunately, a refund is not possible for coins inserted incorrectly.

We look forward to welcoming well behaved dogs for a small extra charge of CHF 25.00 per night. As our rooms are spacious but no more than one dog per room is permitted, please let us know when booking that you are traveling with your furry friend. This to make sure that your four-legged companion is provided with the necessary amenities in the room.
Hotel Rules for Dogs:
Please do not leave your dog in the room alone. You will be charged for all damages done.
Dogs are most welcome in our restaurant. Spend some leisure time together with your four-legged companion and enjoy culinary delis.
Out of consideration for other guests and the surrounding area, we kindly ask you to make sure that your dog is not doing its business in the house, in the garden or on the green patches (park / children's playground) Even if you remove the left-behinds we ask you to respect our rules.

Our Laundry Service for You
We are happy to offer you a laundry service for garments with a sewn-in washing instruction.
Please note that we do not offer dry cleaning.
In the wardrobe in your room you will find a metal basket with a laundry slip containing a price list and our terms and conditions on laundry. Fill out the inclosed slip and bring the laundry basket with the signed laundry slip down to the reception.
Please note that the laundry service is only available during the regular working hours of our laundry staff.

Conclusion of contract The contract is concluded upon receipt of the reservation confirmation reconfirmed by the guest or via an internet-based booking system. If the booking guest registers additional guests, he is liable for the fulfillment of their obligations. The Hotel Guggital is entitled, at its own discretion, to refuse to conclude an accommodation contract with a guest.
Services The specific services provided by Hotel Guggital AG are based on the reservation confirmation. If the guest wishes to use services that are not provided by the hotel itself, the hotel acts only as an agent. These services are billed separately.
Prices and payment obligation The prices are based on the confirmation or the price list. Please note that we work with daily updated rates, where the prices are based on availability. The hotel is entitled to request a deposit of 100% of the total amount for group reservations or special events when the contract is concluded. Room prices based on the non-refundable rate are charged 100% to the credit card when the final booking is made. In addition to a deposit, the hotel can also request a credit card guarantee and a signature. Credit card details are only used to secure the reservation. The final payment is made on site after further consultation with the guest. The deposit must be paid 30 days before arrival. If the deposit is not paid on time, the hotel can terminate the contract after a short grace period of 5 days has elapsed without success and demand the cancellation costs stated under point 4. The final invoice must be paid at check-out in cash in Swiss francs or with an accepted credit card (American Express, Master Card, Maestro CH, Maestro Int., TWINT, Visa, V-Pay). Invoices are due within 30 days of the invoice date without deduction.
Changes, cancellations and no-shows Changes and cancellations of bookings: The decisive factor for calculating a timely cancellation or change of a booking is the receipt of the written notification (only written notifications to info@hotel-guggital.ch accepted), as well as the subsequent confirmation from Hotel Guggital.
Cancellations of internet-based bookings: Cancellations via internet-based booking systems are only legally effective if they have been cancelled via the booking system in compliance with the cancellation conditions and accepted by the hotel. If the customer withdraws from the contract, the following cancellation costs must be paid depending on the type of booking:
100% of the total arrangement
1 - 3 rooms: 24 hours before arrival until 4 p.m. local time
4 - 5 rooms: 72 hours before arrival until 4 p.m. local time
5 - 7 rooms: 7 days before arrival until 4 p.m. local time
7 - 10 rooms: 10 days before arrival until 4 p.m. local time
Reservations with a higher number of rooms are subject to an individual cancellation period.
No-Show: 100% of the total arrangement
The cancellation conditions apply to all bookings.
Room occupancy and return The rooms are available from 2 p.m. on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, the rooms must be vacated by 11 a.m. If the room is returned late, up to 50% of the room price will be charged. If the room is returned after 3 p.m., the full room price will be charged. The guest has no right to a specific room, unless otherwise agreed. The rooms may only be used for the agreed purpose of overnight stay. The hotel is entitled to terminate the contract without notice if the contract was concluded using false or misleading information or if the room is not used in accordance with the contract.
Hotel liability The hotel is liable for the items brought in by guests in accordance with the statutory provisions. Liability is not accepted for minor negligence. The hotel is not liable under any legal title for services that it has merely arranged for the guest (Section 3). If the guest suffers damage or is not satisfied with the hotel's services, he must report this to the hotel immediately, otherwise he can no longer assert any rights. Non-contractual liability is governed by the statutory provisions, subject to further limitations and exclusions of liability in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions.
Withdrawal by the hotel a. If an agreed or requested advance payment or other payment security is not made even after the expiry of a reasonably short grace period set by the hotel, the hotel is entitled to withdraw from the contract immediately. b. Furthermore, the hotel is entitled to withdraw from the contract with immediate effect if the initiation, continuation or complete fulfillment of the contractual relationship is not or no longer reasonable for the hotel, but always if
force majeure/other circumstances beyond the hotel’s control make the fulfilment of the contract unreasonable (Force Majeur).
Rooms and/or event spaces were booked under misleading or false information regarding essential facts (e.g. the identity of the guest or the purpose).
the hotel has reasonable grounds to believe that the use of the hotel services may endanger the smooth running of the business, the safety or the reputation of the other guests and/or the hotel, without this being attributable to the hotel's sphere of control or organization.
In the cases mentioned, the hotel is entitled to immediately withdraw from the contract and the guest has no claim to compensation. Any advance payments or payment guarantees made by the guest are the property of the hotel in accordance with the provisions set out in point 12.
Use and return of hotel rooms The use of hotel rooms and the use of the objects, equipment and facilities provided may only be for the intended purpose. The hotel will not accept responsibility for damage or physical injury caused by the misuse of the objects, equipment and facilities provided. It will also be considered misuse if more people than planned or registered use the rented hotel room(s). Damage caused intentionally or negligently by the guest can be charged by the hotel.
Data protection Any data transmitted by a customer will only be passed on to the extent necessary for a booking. It will not be passed on for other purposes. Otherwise, the statutory data protection regulations are observed when collecting data. Please also note our detailed data protection guidelines.
Applicable law / place of jurisdiction Swiss law applies exclusively to reservation agreements, including general provisions and any additional agreements, as well as to the contracts concluded on their basis. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from these terms and conditions is Zug.
Final provisions We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Changes to these general terms and conditions must be made in writing.
