70 years ago, Franz Elsener took over the Guggital together with his parents. The trained confectioner brought with him many sweet recipes that are still served in our restaurant today.
Some of these desserts, which are prepared unchanged according to his specifications, have enjoyed great popularity for decades.
In addition to these traditional classics, newer creations have also found their place on our menu. Thanks to their continued demand, they are now also among the Guggital classics. So you can enjoy the Zuger Kirsch ice cream cake as well as the vegan eggplant tartare all year round.
