Decoration Floral table decorations for your perfect restaurant experience Our tables are lovingly and seasonally decorated all year round. Currently, charming little Mexican palm trees in elegant white planters decorate our tables and give them a fresh atmosphere. In addition to our standard decoration, we offer seasonal accents with moss roses, roses, tulips, silk flowers: hydrangeas and amaryllis, and real-touch tulips. If you would like silk flowers instead of our pretty Mexican palm trees, please state this when making your reservation. Fresh flowers will be charged, but you can of course take them home with you. If fresh flowers come from our seasonal decorations, they will not be charged and cannot be taken home. If you would like a special floral arrangement, please arrange this directly with your favorite florist to ensure you get exactly what you like best. Of course, you are also welcome to bring your own decorations. Please make sure that they do not leave any residue on our tablecloths. Drip-free candles are welcome as long as they are placed with suitable protection and at a sufficient distance from flammable materials. We reserve the right to remove candles from the decorations if they do not appear sufficiently safe. Please do not use sparklers or attach tape to property, walls or ceilings. The group happily ordered their drinks and desserts and of course immediately caught the attention of other guests. One guest called a member of staff to his table and asked about the group a few tables away. At first his expression did not suggest anything pleasant, but his face brightened and he offered to buy the group their food. A really lovely gesture that touched us all very much. Can my dog come into the restaurant? Yes, of course! You are welcome to bring your dog. There is enough space and we look forward to welcoming your four-legged companion. Are you equipped for dogs? We are happy to bring water to the table for your dog. Water bowls are also set up outside during the warmer months. What is not welcome? We ask you not to let your dog run around freely or beg at the tables. Do not give your dog your plate or cutlery. We will be happy to bring you a dog bowl. Please do not put your dog on a chair unless it is very small and in a dog basket. And what is a no-go? Please do not allow your dog to do its business or mark its poop in the house, in the garden or on Guggital's green areas (park/children's playground). To this day, our dessert menu features traditional sweets based on his original recipes. Among the timeless classics: Cassata, Linzer Torte, and our famous Zug Iced Coffee. The passion for dessert has always been passed down in the Guggital. A few years ago, Satha Satchithanantham created a new signature piece: the Zug Kirsch Ice Cream Cake. This dessert quickly became a guest favourite and has since joined the ranks of our beloved Guggital classics. Our homemade ice cream also holds a special place in our tradition – it used to be stirred by hand in the old brine bath. Many of our ice cream recipes are still based on Franz Elsener’s originals and are refined each season with new, creative flavours. Our dessert menu is regularly enriched with delightfully seasonal creations. At Guggital, there is always something new and tempting to discover for your sweet tooth.
